Drug Trafficking Charges Dropped
April 2010- Maine Superior Court
My client was charged with trafficking cocaine in the state of Maine. Maine police arrested him and another person and recovered a large amount of cocaine. The police said they had been transporting shipments of cocaine over several weeks into the state and then selling the drugs. I argued at suppression and dismissal hearings that the search and seizure of my client was illegal, and that there was not enough evidence against my client. The prosecution eventually agreed.
