Drunk Driving Causes Car Accident, Charges Dropped

This month at Wareham District Court a young man was facing charges for being arrested at the scene of a single car accident for drunk driving. They charged that it was his 2nd Offense. Police allege that he had an overwhelming smell of alcohol, slurred his words, and admitted to drinking at least 6 shots and beers. The police testified that he was too drunk to do any field sobriety tests. Through cross examination at the jury trial, Attorney Brant questioned the "strength" of their evidence. The jury agreed.
