Drug Trafficking Charges Dropped

At the Berkshire Superior Court this month a client had been arrested after a month long investigation conducted by a joint task force of Federal and State law enforcement agents and was facing several counts of Drug Trafficking charges.

Through negotiation, Boston criminal defense attorney Brant was able to avoid a Federal indictment but the client was indicted in state court for a serious of charges which carried, at the very least, a minimum mandatory of 7 and ½ years in state prison. Through a series of litigation and negotiation, Attorney Brant was able to achieve a very favorable disposition. His client pled guilty to drastically reduced charges and only received probation for 2 years, avoiding the mandatory minimum imprisonment.
